Road to Machida | FOREX A3

Size : A3 (30×42 cm / 11.8×16.5 in)

Description : 0.2cm / 0.07in thick FOREX (Foamex) print. FOREX is a plastic material based on PVC which makes it both rigid and waterproof.
My illustration comes from a photo taken during our trip to Japan, in the town of Machida where Pokémon creator Satoshi Tajiri grew up, and which inspired him Palette Town. This is why I chose to add the first 4 Pokémon starters, symbolizing the start of the adventure. This illustration was created on Canson kraft-colored paper with black pens and watercolor. It took me over 30 hours to finalize it. Then, It was scanned and printed on FOREX.

Shipping : Big FOREX pieces are protected by a layer of cardboard and placed in a rigid kraft pouch with reinforced corners. The small FOREX pieces are protected by two layers of cardboard and placed in a plastic pouch with self-adhesive flap. Then, they are all shipped in cardboard envelopes. For the larger formats which may not fit in your mailbox, I recommend providing a phone number, it will be written on the letter with your address.
