Gokurakubashi station | FOREX A3

Size : A3 (30×42 cm / 11.8×16.5 in)

Description : 0.3 cm / 0.12 in thick FOREX (Foamex) print. FOREX is a plastic material based on PVC which makes it both rigid and waterproof.
This illustration was created with black pens on kraft-colored Canson paper. The color is a mix of acrylic paint (for the ceiling) as well as watercolor and colored pencils for the rest. It was then scanned and printed on FOREX. This station is inspired by a photo I took during a trip to Japan. It was while crossing it to go to Mount Koya that the colors and patterns of the ceiling caught my attention. It took me 55 hours to reinterpret this photo and finalize this illustration as it is today.

Shipping : Big FOREX pieces are protected by a layer of cardboard and placed in a rigid kraft pouch with reinforced corners. The small FOREX pieces are protected by two layers of cardboard and placed in a plastic pouch with self-adhesive flap. Then, they are all shipped in cardboard envelopes. For the larger formats which may not fit in your mailbox, I recommend providing a phone number, it will be written on the letter with your address.
